I mean how positive are you it is Immersive Armors? You have alternate start and Helgen reborn. I would focus on mods that may be placing Armor on NPCs. You might be better off finding other mods to add in armors to your game these days. This leave a bunch of invisible armor vertices that will mess up the wound textures on the character wearing the armor.
For example the armors use lots of stacked armor with invisible textures on top of unwanted parts. On a side note Immersive Armors is pretty much as old a Skyrim modding itself, it works but it's not very well designed.
